Tilapia is the second most popular cultured fish in the Philippines. Increased consumer demand is discussed briefly and an account is given of hatcheries, cage culture in lakes and land based grow-out systems. Future prospects in marketing are considered briefly; it is believed that the future success of the industry in the Philippines 

"Fried Tilapia"

The simple dish for Tilapia that Filipino always do, Just clean the fish and rub salt all over the fish and deep-fry to boiling pan.

"Grilled Tilapia"

Combine tomato, onion, salt, ground black pepper, and lemon juice in a bowl then mix well. Stuff the mixture inside the cavity of the tilapia. Just add a sour and salty deep and its complete.

"Ginataang Tilapia"

Ginataang Tilapia is a dish where Tilapia is cooked in coconut milk (or cream) and served with banana peppers. Filipino cooking method that means “cooked in coconut milk”. 

"Pesang Tilapia"

This Pesang Tilapia dish will remind you of home. Have a heaping bowl of steamed rice ready for this comforting meal. 

"Sinanglay na Tilapia"

This dish is somewhat similar to Ginataang Tilapia. However, certain ingredients and procedure differentiates this dish from the later. 

"Sweet and Sour Tilapia"

This manner of preparation reduces the fishy smell and taste of the fish making it more enjoyable to the palate. A combination flavor that plays you tongue.
